Hear from people who are currently working in conservation related careers. Talk with experts and peers about careers you are considering, how to get there, and questions you have.
12:20-12:30pm - Nature Break

12:30-1:25pm - Session 2: Action Think Tank
What conservation problems would you like to change, improve, or even solve? Hear about issues that your peers are passionate about, including fast fashion, plastic microfibers and native plants, and brainstorm about changes you’d like to see in your community.
1:25-1:30pm Nature Break

1:30-2:35pm - Session 3: Making It Happen
Now that you’ve identified a conservation issue that you’re interested in, how do you gather support, get the message out, or find funding? Learn from people who’ve made things happen in their communities and strategize with your peers.
2:35-3:00pm - Closing from The Bug Chicks and Youth Moderators
We’ll end the day by thinking about next steps you can take to make a difference, and where to go with what you’ve learned.
